1963 Oct 8th,hurricane Flora hits with 85mph from the WSW just south causing moderate to heavy damage
1985 Nov 18th, 90mph hurricane kate passes just south from the east
2004,Sept 2nd Hurricane Frances passes just North with 145mph winds,causing minor to moderate damage here from the ESE.
2011, Aug 24th Hurricane Irene passes over while moving WNW with 115mph winds causing heavy damage.Extreme heavy damage up to 90% NEMA said that 90 percent of the settlement at Lovely Bay, Acklins has been wiped out. Irene model history
