1996 hurricane Hortense hits the S.W coast with 80mph winds press 29.23 causing a 4 ft storm surge fajardo reported up to 20 inches of rain 19 killed in P.R
1998 hurricane Georges hit direct with 115mph winds press 28.54 causing very heavy damage here,kills 12 in P.R & 2 billion dollars damage power un restored in parts of Fajardo for months.10 ft storm surge reported
