Named after the Corsican general turned emperor,Napoleon Bonaparte Broward (Broward county.This city is located north of Ft Lauderdale at 26.32N x 80.10W & south of Boca Raton.jettys on bchs every 200 yards or so,condos along bch.One Half mile inland is intercoastal waterway,hillsboro inlet leads
to ocean. The area has expensive homes just north of inlet,bch replenishment is scheduled for 1998. Dedicated as first hurricane
resistant city in 1997(testing)bagan & as of 2000 declared the most disaster proof city in the U.S we will have to see!..In 2004 the movie "In her shoes" with Cameron diaz & shirley Maclaine was filmed here..Elevation: 16 feet
