tropical updateUPDATE BY:Jim Williams.....Even though the 2007 season has officially ended,we are watching a subtropical low east of the Leeward Islands. Some global models develop a low & have it moving into the Greater Antilles during the upcoming week. Our current feature is now Antigua as we watch what happenes over the next few days. On the final day of the 2007 hurricane season I had my annual hurricane season wrap up show. The video starts with clips of former NHC director Bill Proenza being asked very difficult questions in a congressional hearing. We duscussed the technical hurdles at hurricanecity, the season as a whole & took phone calls. Bill Phillips who helps with hurricanecity wore his chicken suit on his live cam and unfortunately his best live shots were accidentally erased when we lost the first half of the show archive.Archive subscribers can access the end of hurricane season show here (1:15:00).
