1975 Aug 31st Hurricane Caroline hits with 115mph winds from the ESE
1977 Sept 2nd hurricane Anita hits as a cat 5, 170mph from the ENE, before landfall recon found a pressure of 27.35 & sustained winds of 170mph.
1988 Sept 16th, hurricane Gilbert hits with 130mph winds from the ESE ,60,000 homes destroyed & 202 killed in surrounding areas of mexico.In La pesca the storm surge reached 2 miles inland.av model error
