1998 Sept 21st,hurricane Georges with 110mph winds just south from the ESE causes 55 boats to sink in the virgin islands & causes wide spread power outages. NHC report
1999 Hurricane Jose weakens to a tropical storm while hitting with 75mph winds from the S.E Oct 21stNHC report
2000 Aug 22nd,Hurricane Debby brushes just north with 75mph winds causing minor damage. NHC report
2017 Hurricane Irma southern eye wall passes directly over with 185mph winds on Sept 6th causing very heavy destruction while moving WNW.Three people dead as of 9/7 There were reports of extensive damage to buildings, and of land entirely stripped of vegetation.
